Animalia explores the other creatures in my narrative world. These animals focus on fiber and mixed media with ceramics being an embellishment.  I utilize old, damaged decorative material, such as vintage tapestries, as well as practical material that has outlived it initial purpose, such as cotton feed sacks from my grandparent's farm.  I then use slow stitch embroidery techniques to embellish and create texture.
